Taking A Bow!

I’m not gonna lie…it feels HELLA great when people acknowledge the blood, sweat, and tears you invest into your craft and calling.

Got the marvelous news yesterday that I am one of a group of Philadelphia creatives selected as a 2021 Illuminate The Arts grant recipient! The criteria were pretty simple: show examples of how you have continued to press on and elevate the arts, despite the despair and isolation of the pandemic. I’m sure the City will share the number and complete list of names of the artists who were awarded. For now, I’m just happy to be in the number and feel a deep sense of satisfaction that what I’ve been able to do in this limited capacity is appreciated.

Bigger and brighter is just ahead, folks!
